Love for the Man in Mirror and not Adulation

You know, love movies have this strange magic. They don’t just tell a story — they touch something inside you that you thought had gone quiet long ago. Every scene, every song, every glance between two people… it starts to pull old strings in your heart. The kind of strings that still remember how to hum your past.

It’s sweet, but it’s also a little painful — because somewhere, in the middle of all that love on screen, you start thinking about your own. The moments you lived, the people you loved, the words you never said. And suddenly, you’re lost in a world where the heart starts talking louder than the mind.

Love movies can make a person weak, not because of what they show, but because of what they remind us of. Every one of us has that one story — maybe unfinished, maybe just paused — that still breathes quietly somewhere in the corners of our heart. And when the movie ends, the memories begin.

Sometimes I sit in silence after such movies, staring at nothing, while my heart drifts to the times that felt like everything. I think of those small, innocent moments — the smiles, the waiting, the “what ifs.” Maybe if I had stopped for a moment back then… maybe if I had spoken those words I kept inside… maybe life would have felt different now.

But life isn’t always about what could have been. It’s about what is. Some moments are meant to stay in memory, soft and untouchable. And some, no matter how much we wish, can’t be brought back.

There’s peace, too, in silence — in not saying everything, in letting love exist quietly within you. Sometimes the person who was never truly part of your life still knows your soul in ways no one else ever could. Because you lived them — in your thoughts, your dreams, your heartbeats. Sitting idle where the mind keeps on thinking and thinking ending up where no one can help that aspect as it’s unstoppable and the infatuation has prolonged in a lifetime.

That’s the beauty of love movies — they leave you thinking, feeling, and humming old songs for days. They remind you that you once felt deeply, that you once believed in something pure. And even if life didn’t go the way you hoped, it’s okay. Because love, in any form, leaves something beautiful behind.

There are moments in life that once felt like the best we ever lived — the kind that made our world shine a little brighter. But when those memories return after years, often stirred by a love movie or a familiar song, they don’t always bring comfort. Instead, they ache in places we thought had healed. It’s strange how something once so beautiful can start to hurt so deeply, how love that once made us whole can leave us feeling empty. Over time, that quiet ache turns the heart a little colder, not out of anger, but out of exhaustion — as if it’s too tired to feel again, too afraid to break once more.

Life may not always be fair, but we can still keep it gentle. People may walk beside us, but when it comes to healing, it’s you who must take that quiet step. I’ve learned that trusting yourself — that small “I” — can carry you through the hardest tides.

And maybe, that’s what love movies truly do. They don’t just make you miss someone — they make you remember yourself — the way you loved, the way you felt, and the way you still can. Let’s say it loud in the feel language of India,

One thinks vintage pal jo jeeye the wahi sabse acche hai toh woh sach nahi hai kyuki zindagi hamesha sahi nahi karti. Kuch waqt masoom hote hai aur kuch pal pal jeene ke liye reh jate hai. Agar maine uss waqt rok liya hota ya phir agar maine lafz keh diye hote toh aajka daur alag hota. Aur zindagi jeene ka nazariya kuch badal jata.

Kuch cheesey hum nahi badal sakte par na bolke bhi sukoon se jeeya ja sakta hai. Humein humse zyada woh ek shaks jaanta hai jo kabhi humari zindagi mein tha hi nahi , par hum jaante hai ki humne use kitna apna bana ke socha aur jeeya hai. Love movies ki ye hi khasiyat hai ki woh hume sochne par chod deti hai aur hum hai ki hafto tak wahi gungunayee rehte hai.

Life is not fair but it’s one person’s thing to keep it fair because no one else , I mean with all eyes open no one else will come and make it fair for oneself. We can be together but when it comes to a self then WE still don’t work and only I letter counts. There has been situations where I took down the WE in life and very badly the boat sinked. But always have faith in I as that is your greatest strength which will help u create wonders.
